<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'm all about the no fuss, quick swipe and go product. I really like the concept of stick/crayon eye shadows, colour them on, blend with fingers and go. Although the highend brands offer all different colours, shades and finishes, the highstreet has been a little slower on the uptake. Much to my delight last week I spotted new shades had been added to the Rimmel Scandaleyes eye shadow stick range. Previously bullet proof beige and bad girl bronze were the only two shades that were up my street.</div>

I did a little whoop however when I saw the new shades up close. They have added a matte beige, a matte dark brown, a taupe and a white. I picked up the 015 trespassing taupe and 011 bluffing. Trespassing taupe is a dark matte taupe. Bluffing is a metallic rose tinted bronze with a shimmer running through it. I love the taupe as a crease shade for some definition. These are great for looking like you have done some fancy blending moves and made an effort when time is short. As usual I do have to wear a primer with these, as my eyelids are super oily. I'm going to pick up the dark matte brown as soon as I see it again. These get a big thumbs up from me. You can check them out <a href="http://www.boots.ie/en/Rimmel-London-Scandaleyes-Shadow-Stick_1306557/" target="_blank">here</a>. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Lately I have been drawn to taupe eye shadow. Taupe can be described as a greyish brown with a cool undertone, I usually go for more bronze brown shades with a warm undertone. However I have been enjoying the way in which the cool undertones in it bring out the blue in my eyes.</div>
<a name='more'></a> <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Maybelline Colour Tattoo in permanent taupe is a great matte taupe with generous staying power. I use the Rimmel Scandeleyes kohl kajal eye liner in taupe all over my lids for a convenient, quick wash of colour, the just gives a slight definition and draws attention to the eye area without being too obvious. Urban Decay do a great matte offering tease in their Naked 2 palette. In the line of something with a bit more dimension, Wet n Wild do a beautiful almost metallic offering in their Silent Treatment palette. Word to those of us with oily lids, I use a primer as a base with all of the above, as most of them wouldn't last an hour on me without being cemented into place!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Let me know below if there are any more highstreet/drugstore brands that do a decent taupe eye shadow in any form, because I've been looking but they seem to be few and far between? I hope everyone is having a really good Sunday. Also my posting hasn't been regular lately thanks to boring life stuff, but I am going to do my best to at least post more regularly until I can get back into a rhythm again.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Apologies that I haven't posted here in more than a week. Life getting in the way but hopefully I'm back into the swing of things now. I managed to pick up a few beauty items that have been doing the rounds of the blogging kingdom and give them a whirl.</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Collection Work the Colour Nude Eye Palette. This has eight eye shadows and a cream highlighter. There are three light base shades, two medium crease shades and three dark smoky shades. The quality of these eye shadows is surprisingly good for a drug store palette. I did need to pack pack pack it on but they wear really well and did last all day on me. I also have their smoky eye version of this which is also great. The packaging of this is cardboard which isn't the best for durability, but at about €6 it is such good value for money don't let the cheapness of the packaging put you off! I can't find this on the boots.ie website, however I'm sure there was loads of them at the Collection stands in store in four different variations, if you see them get one you won't regret it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The new L'Oreal Glam Bronze in 00 blond sun, is the latest matte offering to land on the high street. I thought this would be good for contouring and bronzing, but alas it is slightly too orange on me for contouring. I like it for bronzing it gives a light glow. When I was buying this the only other shade available was 06 which I thought might be too dark for me, and that one was definitely on the ashier side than 00 which is on the warmer side. I can't find this on the Boots.ie website and I can't remember how much it was either. My advice with this is if you want to use it was a bronzer go for 00 and if you want to contour and sculpt go for the darker shades. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This Bourjois 123 Perfect CC cream has been getting a lot of love from me since the weather has gotten better. I can't believe how good this base is, it surprised me. It comes out almost like water in texture, but the evenness and colour correction it provides is like a medium to full coverage without feeling heavy on my skin. There are about five shades of this, I got this in 31 Ivory the lightest shade which is a good match for me.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I managed to get my hands on Oh Mr Darcy! from Rimmel Salon Pro nail polish range. Anna from viviannadoesmakeup spoke about it <a href="http://www.viviannadoesmakeup.com/a-chanel-frenzy-dupe/" target="_blank">here</a>. I have no idea if it is in fact a dupe for Chanel frenzy, but it is a great shade. I really like the formula and the brush on these polishes.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I picked up the Revlon Highlighting Palette in 030 bronze glow, which is a clear dupe for the Bobbi Brown Shimmer bricks. At €42 I don't use highlighter enough to justify the price tag, but at €12 I thought I would give the concept a go. As I suspected this is seriously shimmery. It also has some blusher properties on my fair skin so it comes up as a super shimmery peach blusher/highlighter. I do like this but more for an evening time look if I'm honest. Also the shades in it look similar to the Naked 3, so I'm going to give this a go as eye shadow and report back.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I picked up the Sleek Eyebrow Stylist in 718 dark. This is the latest high street addition to the eyebrow trend. It also seems to be dupe for the Hourglass one in design? It has a waxy consistency to it and the colour is an ash brown, but I haven't used it enough to formulate an opinion on it. It be seen <a href="http://www.sleekmakeup.com/eyes/eyebrows/eyebrowstylistmedium" target="_blank">here</a>, at sleekmakeup.com for €7.49. I also got a Pout Polish from them as I thought they were a cheek/lip product. Maybe they are but the colour I picked up <a href="http://www.sleekmakeup.com/lips/lip-gloss/pout-polish-bare-minimum" target="_blank">963 bare minimum</a> comes up translucent on my skin and has way too much glitter in it to use on the face. It smells like vanilla though and is nice as a lipgloss. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Let me know below if you've done a haul lately, I'm always free for a haul! I hope everyone is having a really good day. </div>

This is what I took away with me for a weekend away with my family. I took my beloved Paul & Joe 'filofax' style make up bag with me, it is just so pretty, but it is a bit bulky for handbag use so I don't get as much use out of it as I would have liked. We weren't going to do much while we were away except go for dinner one evening. This make up bag covers the everyday simple make up look, with a few bits to make it a little more sophisticated for the evening.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Now that spring is here, I decided to start getting my legs ready for when the weather gets warmer. Although I love beauty, I can be quite lazy when it comes to the more time consuming tasks, like body moisturising, and Lord knows I need it. The skin on my legs is so dry, my doctor once commented on them and prescribed me a medical grade moisturiser for them, when I went in with a sore throat! As for fake tan I have had a few disasters in the past and I tend to steer clear of the stuff, no matter how jealous I am of the people who can apply it properly. It is just not a talent which I posses!</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
When I got this St. Tropez Gradual Tan an 'everyday body moisturiser' free with a magazine, I thought beauty bingo a moisturiser and fake tan in one perfect for my poor old legs. The only fake tan I use, for emergency/desperate occasions, is the St. Tropez bronzing mouse which I scrub to death in the shower to tone it down. I figured if I got on with their mouse, their gradual tan version should be a match made in heaven. This has a light white cream consistency. It is a little greasy but it dries in about 5-10 minutes, and does leave an initial moisturised feeling. The consistency of this cream makes it easy to apply, it adheres well and sinks in quickly. As it leaves a softness to the skin it is easy to identify any missed areas. I did find that that it took quite a lot of product to cover both my legs, but perhaps it seemed that way to me as I only have a 75ml sample tube. It is available <a href="http://www.boots.ie/en/St-Tropez/Gradual-Tanning/" target="_blank">here</a> from boots.ie €17.99 for 200ml.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This doesn't have the traditional biscuit scent to it. It is heavily fragranced with the St. Tropez deep musky scent. I don't mind it too much, but it is a little 'old lady perfume' scent to be honest. The main reason I steer clear of fake tan is that most of them no matter what the shade or the brand come up orange on my skin because I am just so pale. I was really impressed by the colouring this gives, it is just a hint to match the upper half of my body. In typical St. Tropez style it gives a realistic bronze finish. I have even taken this on to my arms and body, that's how much I like it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The wear time on this is not the best. They are not kidding when they say an 'everyday' moisturiser. I find with most gradual tanners I use them every second day to get a slow light build up of colour, and then to maintain the tan without it going too dark/orange. This one seemed to disappear by the second day, so it needs to be applied every evening diligently, and that takes dedication. It did fade evenly, even on my dry dry legs so I give it extra points for that.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I found after the initial moisturised feeling post application the hydrating properties of this weren't enough for my extra dry skin. My legs were starting to get cracked and flaky by the second day (too much info there, sorry). I love the colour pay off from this tanner so much I feel that I would forgive it anything. If you are a regular tanner I would recommend the medium/dark shade as this may be a little subtle, and the medium dark gives a beautiful bronze just back from holidays look.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Let me know if you have tried this tanner and what you think of it? If you know of any good (or cheaper) gradual tanners for the pale almost pink skinned of us out there please let me know. I really am considering trying out their <a href="http://www.boots.ie/en/St-Tropez-Everyday-Gradual-Tan-Face-Light-Medium-50ml_55031/" target="_blank">facial tanner</a> version of this as well, so let me know if you have tried that? At €17.99 for just 50ml, I want to be sure it is as good as its body counterpart before I splash my cash. I really hope everyone is having a great day. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Since the sun has come out again, there is a touch of spring in the air and it has started to creep onto my nails. I usually go for dark nails come whatever season, but now I'm all about white nails. Finding the right consistency in a white polish has proven quite tricky. A couple that I tried were too thick and took too long to dry. One was too thin and the results were a little streaky and patchy. As in the story of Goldielocks and the three bears ''one was just right''. Black nail polish throws up similar issues, which I posted about <a href="http://beautyfulbits.blogspot.ie/2014/02/rimmel-rave-for-under-5-too.html" target="_blank">here</a>. This time though Rimmel wasn't the answer.</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Energy source from L.A. Colours (pictured second left above) was the only white polish I had prior to two weeks ago. Used mainly for french manicure tips and as a base for glitter polishes, it was largely unused. The consistency of this is quite thin and it is difficult to get an even finish.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I picked up the white from Rita Ora's collaboration with Rimmel in 703 white hot love (pictured first left). Normally I love the formula and the brushes from their 60 second polish range, but this is a fail for me. The consistency of this is too thick and it takes two coats way too long to dry. Boo. <a href="http://www.boots.ie/en/Rimmel-60-Seconds-Rita-Ora-Nail-Polish_1450794/" target="_blank">Here</a> you can take a look at the collection from Boots.ie</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Next up I picked up the new gel formula from Models Own called white light (pictured far right). This formula is better than the Rimmel offering, it is a little lighter in consistency. The nails I managed to do in one coat came out perfect, but the one's that required a second coat I found were streaky and slow to dry. I still want to try some other colours from this range to see if they really are a gel effect finish, they are €7.65 each <a href="http://www.boots.ie/en/Models-Own-HyperGels-nail-polish_1436037/" target="_blank">here</a>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
My fourth and final white polish is the winner by far. It is of course Essie's blanc (pictured aboved second right). The brush is great, three swipes coats one nail easily. You could get away with just the one coat, two gives a perfectly opaque finish. The second coat dries no problem. The finish this gives is beautiful and even. Essie do some amazing colours and the finish is gorgeous, they are available <a href="http://www.boots.ie/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/EndecaSearchListerView?categoryParentId=&storeId=10552&searchv2=true&categoryId=218271&N=4294806838+4294933999&catalogId=19051&langId=-1#container" target="_blank">here</a>, for €9.99. They are on the expensive side for a drugstore polish, but they are the best polish I have tried in terms of consistancy, brush, finish, lasting power and for their unique colours.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Essie blanc was the definite winner for me. Let me know if you have tried any good white polishes lately? I hope everyone is having a great day.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here are some of the new releases that have caught my eye. It's going to take every ounce of my strength not to rush out and but these, so for now I can merely admire them from afar. Very far away because if I see any of these in the flesh I'll end up buying them.</div>
<a name='more'></a> <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Although I might just<i> have</i> to get the Ojon cleansing conditioner in the name of research! I want to give the shampoo a miss for a month and see if it can go some way to helping my dry, wavy, frizzy, fine hair, because it's just looking crap at the moment no matter what I try and do. So really it's a mercy mission for this conditioner, could it even be a matter of life of death?! No too far, mercy mission will do grand! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I mainly want the Revlon scented nail polishes (Revlon are calling it their 'Parfumerie Line' very fancy) because of the bottles, they are just so pretty and a little old school. The colours that are available do seem to well chosen and would be a welcome addition to even the most vast collector of polishes. The scents aren't just fruits either, with such choices as sunlit grass, surf spray, balsam fir, ginger melon, Italian leather, African tea rose, tropical rain, beachy, to name just a few! It's on the Jo Malone line there. These look like beautiful polishes and now I really want to collect them all. They are currently on sale <a href="http://www.boots.ie/en/Revlon-Parfumerie%C2%99-Scented-Nail-Enamel_1450732/" target="_blank">here</a> for €8.99 from Boots.ie.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The new Nars contouring palettes look amazing. If their other powder compacts are anything to go by they should be fabulous. However, at €37<a href="http://www.narscosmetics.eu/the-latest/collections/newest-collections-from-nars/contour-blush-collection" target="_blank"> here</a> I'm going have to put it on wishlist for a while, boo. Although, I've heard that their singles are better quality than their duos. It's a beauty dilemma for sure!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
L'Oreal Glam Bronze bronzer is a new matte bronzer set to hit the highstreet soon. Badly needed, as I find it so difficult to find a cheap bronzer for fair skin that is matte. The more options the better right?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Special mention to the Laura Mercier Artisan Palette and the Bourjois Mani & Pedi Remover. I will definitely be picking up the Bourjois nail polish remover when I see it, how genius is it? <a href="http://www.zoelondon.me/2014/03/bourjois-nail-polish-remover-hands-feet-new-review.html" target="_blank">Here</a> is a link to Zoe Londons blog post on it, she has all the info plus beautiful (as always) pictures to accompany it. I won't be picking up the Laura Mercier Palette, although I think the matte shades in it are gorgeous, after reading <a href="http://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/2014/04/laura-mercier-spring-artist-palette.html" target="_blank">here</a> from Lily Pebbles that the price has gone up so much since Christmas, boo to you Laura Mercier. As a beauty consumer I don't mind paying a little extra for a brand that has a good reputation like Laura Mercier, but they have raised the price of this palette from £36 to £60. I know, WOW. All that has changed is that they have included a mini mascara and cavier stick, that essentially costs them nothing. At £36 we are already being slightly taken for mugs as it would cost £20 at the most to manufacture. But £60?! I'm really annoyed about this actually. Laura Mercier needs to check itself because most beauty consumers I know are intelligent, sharp people who can smell a con a mile off, and this reeks!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Let me know if you have come across the L'Oreal Glam Bronze any where? I couldn't find a link to it on the Boots website and I am dying to get my hands on it. Let me know what new beauty realseas you are looking forward to, incase I'm missing out on something! I hope everyone is having a great day. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I have been dying to get my hands on some of the Wet n Wild offerings since I heard they were coming to Dunnes Stores back in January. I went in a few times to avail, until yesterday. They had everything in stock as well jackpot. I wanted everything, but I settled for the bits above. </div>
<a name='more'></a>After reading some reviews last night, I <span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;">didn't</span> do too bad either. The grand total for everything above came to about €25, I mean it's just so cheap!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I got a blusher in E831E pearlscent pink for €4.49. It is peach-pink with flecks of gold running through it. It's claimed that it is a dupe for Nars orgams. I'm really excited to try this. The eyeshadow trios come in at €4.49 and I picked up<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;"> E335 silent treatment and E380B walking on eggshells. Walking on eggshells is apparently a dupe for three famous Mac eyeshadows, shroom<span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; line-height: 19px;"> </span><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 19px;">(top)</span><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 19px;">, </span><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 19px;">cork</span><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 19px;"> </span><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 19px;">(middle)</span><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 19px;">, </span><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 19px;">and naked lunch (bottom)</span><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 19px;">. The 8 colour palette is Comfort Zone, which is a everyday wearable neutral palette, another must have. The Megalast nail polish comes in a beautiful bottle which feels much more expensive then the €2.99 price tag. I got a classic red in E2143 I red a good book. The Megalast range is supposed to be the best of Wet n Wild nail polish offerings, and they did have some beautiful neutral and pastel colours, perfect for spring. I hope the formula lives up to its reputation so I can go and buy 9 more shades! Lastly I picked up a lipstick in E907C mauve outta here. There isn't a name to this particular lipstick line printed on the packaging, but I can tell you now these are matte lipsticks. This is mauve/berry coloured and probably better for winter, but I wanted to go for something different from my usual pink or peachy-pink.</span></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 19px;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I can't wait to slap these on my face and test them out, you better believe full reviews will follow! The addition of another budget makeup brand to the highstreet fills me with delight (in case you can't tell I'm excited!), especially one that is so highly recommend.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
What do you think of Wet n Wild? Do you think that it is over hyped on our side of the pond because it wasn't available here before? What are you dying to try from them? I really hope everyone is having a good day. </div>

If you haven't heard of US cosmetics brand Tarte by now I'd be surprised. Once only available in the US, Tarte has finally launched in UK and Ireland through <a href="http://www.qvcuk.com/CatalogSearch?langId=-2&storeId=10252&catalogId=10152&keyword=tarte&x=23&y=16" target="_blank">QVC</a>, and not a moment too soon either. Recently <a href="http://sephora.com/">Sephora.com</a> has started shipping to the UK, which also means to Ireland thanks to Parcel Motel.</div>
<a name='more'></a> <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The Tarte Amazonian Clay blushers have got a lot of love in the blogging kingdom for a while now, famed for being seriously pigmented and having an eminence lasting power. While I like blusher, I'm not sure if I can bothered to have it shipped all the way from UK/USA. Pictured above are the bits from Tarte that do get my beauty taste buds salivating. The Amazionan Clay Sultry Sunset Eyeshadow Palette, the Amazonian Butter Lipstick trio, the Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation with brush, and the Amazonian Clay Full Cover Airbrush Powder and brush. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The Amazonian Clay blushers aren't available as of yet on QVC.co.uk, which is a bit of a bummer because as far as I can tell they are the main attractions of the Tarte show. As I am trying to be more frugal at the moment it was all I could do to stop myself going onto Sephora.com and ordering all of the above plus a blusher. However, I have decided to wait until the dust settles from the stampede, read/watch the reviews, wait until QVC is stocking the blushers, and then decide what I need. Sensible, sensible I know! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I really like the look of these products and their website promotes them as being healthy, eco-friendly and cruelty free, with no nasty ingredients. You can read all about it <a href="http://tartecosmetics.com/welcome-letter.php" target="_blank">here</a> if you like. I can't wait to hear what the beauty lovers this side of the pond make of the Tarte range and to get my hands on it too! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>

Please let me know if you have picked up anything from Tarte and what you have thought about it so far? What do you like the look of and what's going on your shopping list from the range? It is a little overcast here today, but lovely for a stroll and I hope everyone is having a great day.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
The cleansing balm trend is one that shows no sign of slowing down. The two most talked about must be the <a href="http://www.evelom.com/Cleanser-50ml/MEV0028_9470,en_GB,pd.html?start=3&cgid=cleansers" target="_blank">Eve Lom</a> and <a href="http://www.feelunique.com/p/Emma-Hardie-Amazing-Face-Natural-Lift-and-Sculpt-Moringa-Cleansing-Balm-100ml" target="_blank">Emma Hardy</a> versions. I haven't tried the Eve Lom version, but I will join the chorus singing Emma Hardys praise. At €40 it isn't cheap. I've been looking for a cheaper balm cleanser for everyday makeup removal.<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
Along came this baby. It has a more waxy consistency than Emma Hardy, but melts so beautifully and dissolves make up easily, even eye make up with no irritation or stinging. It has a really mild natural scent of camomile to it. I use a muslin cloth to remove it. This cleanser leaves my skin feeling clean and soft. This is one of the only cleansers that hasn't left my skin feeling tight or doesn't strip my skin after rinsing it off, that alone would be enough to wow me, but wait there's more goodness in that round metal tin. It hasn't broken out my combination skin, moisturising the dry outer areas of my face and cleansing and balancing the middle oilier parts of my face. It doesn't leave a residue or film behind after washing it away.<br />
<br />
This cleansing balm comes recommended by skincare guru <a href="http://www.carolinehirons.com/2013/09/the-body-shop-up-their-game-camomile.html" target="_blank">Caroline Hirons</a> and now whole heartily by me too. This cleansing balm/butter is €14.95 for 90mls <a href="http://www.thebodyshop.ie/camomile-sumptuous-cleansing-butter.html" target="_blank">here</a>, not the cheapest but a good deal I think. If you were thinking of dipping your toe in the cleansing balm pool, this is one to do it with. <br />

JOUER MATTE MOISTURE TINT<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEio-ImW1VG5lR_PIJI91l3hFYp0EhtwWc5eS_froTgG7Nrxw1DwPNSrJQrIlPreBHIGr3ULuCZp-NtdRyOKxd139NzZFDlhyphenhyphenwllgRA1Y0Foqi6IUDOsaWyedJf9nc8aKF0VwQ54FOpb4uw/s1600/canon+3+043.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEio-ImW1VG5lR_PIJI91l3hFYp0EhtwWc5eS_froTgG7Nrxw1DwPNSrJQrIlPreBHIGr3ULuCZp-NtdRyOKxd139NzZFDlhyphenhyphenwllgRA1Y0Foqi6IUDOsaWyedJf9nc8aKF0VwQ54FOpb4uw/s1600/canon+3+043.JPG" height="213" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This base did the rounds of the blogging kingdom quite awhile back. Since it had matte in it's name, I had to buy it. I had high hopes for this base, as it was beloved by seemingly everyone in the blogging kingdom. When I initially got this I was using the Real Techniques Buffing brush to apply it, and almost immediately I felt it was a shade too dark for me. </div>
<a name='more'></a>I also did not feel it was mattifying in any way and that it didn't adhere to my skin properly. I was disappointed but I figured it just didn't suit my skin type and it was the wrong shade. This clearly was not the base of my dreams.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Fast forward to beginning of March and I needed a foundation I could apply with my fingers in a hurry. I don't know why but I reached for this and boy I am glad I did. Using my fingers this blended into my skin like a dream and the colour match seemed much better. I'm thinking here that the warmth in my fingers warmed up the base and got it going. The coverage this tinted moisture offers is fuller than other tinted moisturisers that I've tired, which makes it idea for days where my skin looks abit crap but I don't want to wear a full coverage foundation. I really feel now I know how this base works best on me that it will be a spring/summer staple. As I said although the coverage is a littler fuller, it still manages to retain the consistency of a tinted moisturiser and feels light on the face. Though is claims to be matte, the finish is not truly matte, it does leave a sheen of radiance come through. It does have good oil control and seems to wear evenly. It lasts about 5-6 hours on me before I need to re-apply or powder. That's another great thing about this base, it can be reapplied on the areas it has worm off of, without becoming cakey or patchy in comparison to the rest of my face. Score.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I cannot believe the difference application can make to finish, colouring and lasting power of a foundation. I will admit to being a makeup brush snob before this experience, but using my fingers and loving the results has delighted my lazy side! It has also ignited my curiosity about different application methods for different foundations. In the future I won't be so hesitant to get stuck in and get my hands (or fingers at least) dirty!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This favourites has a bit of everything makeup, skincare, and beauty tools. On the skincare front I've been using The Body Shop Scrumptious Cleansing Butter, which is their version of a balm cleanser, and it's great. I have even been using it instead of the Emma Hardy Amazingness face to remove my makeup and its been doing a damn good job. </div>
<a name='more'></a>Full review to following during the week. La Roche Posay Cicaplast baume b5 has really impressed me, it has helped clear up dry patches that appeared on the inside of my upper arms. The Cupcake Mask from Lush was an unexpected hit for me and the scent is heaven, it smells like chocolate fairy cakes. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Jouer Matte Moisture Tint is a rediscovery for me, applying this base a different way made all the difference for me. After shunning eye-liner for an age, I've fallen off the wagon again and am back sporting it again. Rimmel Scandaleyes waterproof kohl kajal in 001 black works well both on the lid and the waterline. I bought another one for my little handbag makeup bag recently I love it that much. I have been loving shakedown from the Urban Decay Shattered Face Case (pictured above first grey shade), it is a grey/brown shade with a hint of shimmer running through it. As I have been loving barely there matte eyeshadow lately, this shadow paired with the Rimmel black liner creates the perfect smokey eye, this is a change for me, and is definitely not season appropriate! Ah well! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
My last two favourites are beauty tools. These eye lash curlers are from Kiko. I haven't been blown away by this specific pair, but they reintroduced me to curling my lashes and I haven't been able to stop since, I had forgotten the difference it makes! I'm tempted to try the legendary Shu Uemura ones. This Zoeva Kabuki Foundation brush has become my go to brush for medium to full coverage liquid foundations (I know that sounds very specific, but most of my daily foundations are this consistency!). At €12 it is a good cheaper alternative to the Real Techniques Buffing brush.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Let me know if you have a favourites post I can go and check out. Favourites posts/videos tend to be the main source of enablement (? Is that even a word, if not it should be in the beauty kingdom!) for me to beauty shop and I basically love 'em. If you have tried the Shu Uemura eyelash curlers let me know your verdict, before I go and spend about €30 on them. If you have tried a cheaper alternative or a dupe that you think does an even better job please let me know. I really hope everyone is having a great day and that Spring has arrived where ever you might be. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I decided to pick up a few of these brushes after hearing Lily Pebbles talk about them. I wanted to try another budget brush brand (try saying that five times fast!) other than Real Techniques. I picked up four, a kabuki foundation brush, a slanted cheek brush and two different size face definer brushes.</div>
<a name='more'></a> The quality of these brushes feel like more than the budget price, they feel well put together and weighty in the hand.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>104 Buffer Brush €12.50</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
A dense flat topped kabuki brush. Makes easy work of blending in medium to full coverage liquid foundations. I have been reaching for this more than my beloved R.T. buffing brush, I never thought that would happen. I wouldn't use this brush for lighter liquid foundations or tinted moisturisers though because it seems to soak them up, which means I will probably use this brush less in the summer. Definite staple in the making though.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>127 Luxe Sheer Cheek Brush €11.50</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is a slanted blusher brush. As the name suggests it for a sheer application of blush. Great for pigmented blush when only a wash of colour is required. Creates a light natural wash of colour. I found it difficult to get the lighter colours of blush to apply with his brush however.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>101 Luxe Face Definer €17.50</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This was the most expensive and the most disappointing brush. It is a very large fluffy tapered brush. The fluffiness of the fibres making up the brush make the tapered end bend and get misshapen easily which totally defeats the purpose of a tapered brush, which for me is precision application of power product. It is also too large for precision application. I didn't find it great for contouring but maybe I can use it for bronzer. Disappointing.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>105 Luxe Highlight €11.50</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
A smaller version of the above brush, or so I thought. It isn't as tapered, but is denser. Good for highlighter and contouring. A similar brush to the R.T. Contour brush.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Overall I like these brushes, some of them weren't suitable for what I thought I could use them for but hey that's internet shopping. I will definitely find other uses for the two face defining brushes. A good budget brand brush company that do a wide variety of shapes and sizes is no bad thing for me, I will definitely be picking up a few more. </div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguERDa7oP-ndS1nFhSSsfMg2M0eCVFO1NogpdxOJBUqgfDAC5Z5RFtI9nqyR4FaaE96jHVLGldxPaTrUEl2o-S7bewVZNxxXjlwFf-54Vj6Zfr3pv57SI7tQAmDi4sajxab7RkXjZH8KA/s1600/SD+Card+250314+067.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguERDa7oP-ndS1nFhSSsfMg2M0eCVFO1NogpdxOJBUqgfDAC5Z5RFtI9nqyR4FaaE96jHVLGldxPaTrUEl2o-S7bewVZNxxXjlwFf-54Vj6Zfr3pv57SI7tQAmDi4sajxab7RkXjZH8KA/s1600/SD+Card+250314+067.JPG" height="218" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Urban Decay have brought out their version of 'build your own quad' and this one does not disappoint. As with most Urban Decay products the packaging is cool and funky, if a little bulky. The main attraction of this quad for me is the ease at which the pans can be put in and then switched out again. The colour combination can be changed in this quad for the season/occasion/trip. The beauty of this palette is I only need to bring this one and it can be whatever I need it to be.</div>
<a name='more'></a> Urban Decay has repackaged its single eye shadows so the pan is easily removed and be placed in its various build able palettes and can easily be returned to its single casing again. Genius. No more buying duplicates of eye shadows in single and in pan form.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I don't need to go in to the quality of Urban Decay shadows as it is well documented. Needless to say they are buttery soft, pigmented, blend well and wear like a dream. This is palette is priced at €12.50 in Debenhams. Also included is one neutral peach eye shadow to get the collection going. I felt this was a nice touch, well done Urban Decay. Buying an empty quad for me, lacks some satisfaction. It's a beauty purchase but realistically there is no beauty use for it when it is empty. I think it's a great incentive including one eye shadow. The single eye shadows to fill it are €18, a bit on the expensive side. However, I think the quality and the dual casing options make them well worth it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Could this be the ultimate 'build your own quad' system? I really do think so. Let me know what quad system you love below. If there is a better (or cheaper) system out there please tell me, because lets face it there can never be too many palette in our collections can there!? I hope everyone is having a really good day.</div>

This did the rounds of the blogging kingdom last year, receiving universal praise. I am pretty new to (and pretty awful at) contouring, but this was even said to be foolproof! <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: left;">When I first opened this grey toned brown powder I was intimidated by just how pigmented and deep the colouring is in the pan. I actually didn't use it for a long time and stuck with NYX blusher because I was convinced I would end up going over board with this, then end up with too stripes of mud under my cheeks and having to redo my entire face. Eventually I decided that I would have to try this, it cost €40 and it was doing nothing staring up at me menacingly from the top of my Muji drawers. I felt the right brush for application could make or break this product for me. I am very fair/pale skinned, I get no tan what so ever, I am almost pink in complexion. I bought this during my first trip to Space NK ever and clearly I got really carried away, because at this stage I was having serious doubts as to whether I could actually pull off this medium (as its described) shade powder. I had been using the Real Techniques duo-fiber contour brush with the NYX blusher, but I felt a light hand with a brush with a smaller surface area might work better with this powder. This contour brush applies just the right amount of product and blends it out like a dream, because it is a little denser than its duo-fiber cousin. It has been a match made in makeup heaven for me, and has helped me tackle my Sculpting Powder fear!</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmikMFvM2CbV5N3lwUHAh4otl0cu-MeR4A3KR36G9htHOhmxE7ahLqtV-4seXW8Wdq_GA5rUJZnA3PGR0rYLEH7vvyNT8ntoVAxuZrO61zU1HCkyha2kz4Zcf0Gxnmc-ieAawn8vs3hXk/s1600/2+March+2014+060.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmikMFvM2CbV5N3lwUHAh4otl0cu-MeR4A3KR36G9htHOhmxE7ahLqtV-4seXW8Wdq_GA5rUJZnA3PGR0rYLEH7vvyNT8ntoVAxuZrO61zU1HCkyha2kz4Zcf0Gxnmc-ieAawn8vs3hXk/s1600/2+March+2014+060.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This powder is truly astounding. I was sceptical due to the small amount in the pan, the colouring, and how pigmented it seemed to be, but it won me over. It creates cheekbones on my round face. I do not usually go for the bronzed look or I've just come back from holidays look (as I said I'm super pale), and this didn't alarm me as I feared it would, it comes across quite natural. For me, it is probably a bit much for day time during the spring/summer, but I love this for an evening/formal look.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The product itself is on the small side, 3.10g for the €40 price tag. If you contour everyday then it probably will run out fast. I don't contour on average day and when I do I only apply the smallest pinch, so little as the pan seemed to me, it will last me a long, long time. It is a lucky thing that, because if this was a blusher it would be gone in no time and I would be seriously disappointed.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The burning question is if I ever use this up would I repurchase? Repurchasing is the ultimate accolade in the beauty world, I feel! I don't think I would, it's just too expensive for the 3.10g you get. There are other contouring powders that are a similar colouring that will more or less do the same job. Although it does the best contouring job I have come accross, there are other things I'd rather spend €40 on. Have you tried this? Please let me know below what you thought of it? Would you pass this by or can you not be without it? Do you have any suggestions for a good contouring powder I could try out? Enable away. I hope everyone is getting through Monday and is having a good day.</div>

Free with purchase are the three word every beauty lover wants to hear. This latest offering from La Roche Posay, which I received when I repurchased their Hydraphase Light moisturiser, is pretty good, it got me quite excited on the way home! </div>
<a name='more'></a> It contains, A 50ml Physiological Micellar Solution, a 50ml Thermal Spring Water, a 15ml Hydreane BB cream, a 5ml Cicaplast, and a 5ml Anthelois XL 50+ SPF. Apart from the water in can (which I do not understand for the life me why? why? why?) I really like this little kit. The two 5mls should really have been 15mls for the sake of good form but overall it's a great way to trial a few of LRP bits. I'm already on my way to go buy and buy a full size Cicaplast baume B5. It is essentially a soothing moisturiser, it has worked wonders on these angry dry patches I have on the inside of my arms and on my stomach. It has been the only moisturiser that I have tried that has worked and I'm sold, my boyfriend even noticed the patches were looking much better. Actually I might get two... <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
If you are thinking of picking up any LRP products do it soon and get yourself a little extra treat, and its the perfect handbag size kit. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I picked this gorgeous palette up at Christmas time in one of my local chemists on a whim basically. It was reduced from €37 to about €19, which is why it originally caught my eye. I'm absolutely delighted I bought this.</div>
<a name='more'></a> I'm sure it is an end of line/last seasons collection, but Clarins bring these out every so often in various beautiful guises. Their polka dot one I think is particularly beautiful.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<img alt="Clarins Opalescence Face & Blush Powder" src="http://www.salonskincare.co.uk/images/thumbs/Pack_Opalescence_Poudre_Tei-300x300.jpg" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<i>Image from Clarins UK</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The Face Eclat palette is made up of a flesh toned, pink and peach powder. Used together it can be placed onto the cheeks and temples as a light bronzer. Place the brush more in the pink and peach side and it can be used as a blusher. The colour starts off sheer giving a hint of colour (which is perfect for me as I am so pale) but can be built to a good solid colouring. The shades of bronzer and blusher that this palette gives off are truly beautiful and is perfect now that spring has finally arrived. This is a great palette when I'm in a hurry because it gives me a nice tanned (but not bronze) colour and I can get my usual just a hint of blush from this too, without accidentally going over-board. It's perfect for subtle or ''no makeup'' makeup.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSYn01lm9qa-WuIIJY04xj3iuJFtHbXh6relaHDcH9jSxKKTYyV8l1kXdApnl8kTJcvmJko2JoYhvkhF4qogqgbAkv8bZNhrdvFBLiESCTK-4Tw8INMJcCD9V-3_WGE3q6m-5m9ydn_0k/s1600/2+March+2014+062.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiSYn01lm9qa-WuIIJY04xj3iuJFtHbXh6relaHDcH9jSxKKTYyV8l1kXdApnl8kTJcvmJko2JoYhvkhF4qogqgbAkv8bZNhrdvFBLiESCTK-4Tw8INMJcCD9V-3_WGE3q6m-5m9ydn_0k/s1600/2+March+2014+062.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The packaging for this is seriously luxurious, well done Clarins. It is a gold block with a small ''c'' in one corner. It has a classy vintage feel to it. It also comes with a red velvet pouch, unnecessary but none the less fabulous. Makeup just feels fancier when it comes in a velvet pouch doesn't it? I have this on display on top of my Muji storage for all to see it is just so beautiful. It has a nice large mirror on the inside of the lid.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
If you can't already tell I'm really in to this palette. I have said beautiful several times during this post, it really is love. I'm torn between wanting to use it all the time and not wanting to disturb the beautiful flower (which I think is a lily?) embossed into the powder. This is what I consider to be collectable makeup. Almost too beautiful to use, even if it is so damn good.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here are a few bits that I've picked up over the past few weeks. A few of these I have tried already so I'll give my first impressions.</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>Essie Fall Collection</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This nail polish duo feautres bahama mama and chinchilly. I really like these colours together or on their own. Bahama mama is a berry pink colour. Chinchilly is a grey brown with purple undertones. I love these but they are definitely more winter colours, and wouldn't you know since I got them the sun has started shining, spring has arrived.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>Essie Nail Polish in Masterplan</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is a beautiful nail polish. I bought it after seeing Anna from viviannadoesmakeup talk about it. It is similar to chinchilly but is lighter and definitely more grey, understated and classy is the way I would describe it. Quickly becoming one of my favourite nail polishes.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>Stila Into the Light palette</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Another neutral palette, they are the weakness of all beauty lovers I think. This one is no exception, the shades are beautiful and they all compliment one another. They are buttery soft and they colour pay off is great. There are mostly shimmery shades in this palette, but I found they have looked really great since the weather has gotten better, they look bronze and summery (is that even a word?!). A great neutrals palette, full review to follow.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I picked this up on offer in my local pharmacy for €5.99, the entire line of new matte bases that Rimmel has launched was, so it would have been rude and uneconomic of me not to pick all three up, because really I would have ended up buying them all anyway at some point. If it says matte on the packaging of any makeup I will end up buying it. I have only used this once and on application I did find it a bit thick. This thickness does not translate to thick coverage, as the coverage is medium I would say, however I found it difficult to blend and it did feel a little heavy. As I said the coverage was medium and I'm OK with that, but if I am going to go to the bother of really buffing in a heavy foundation and put up with a heavy base all day, I at least expect a decent coverage pay off for my efforts. It is not a truly matte finish it does give some radiance which I like. The mattifying power of this was OK, nothing exceptional, and if I remember the lasting power wasn't amazing either. I am going to give this foundation a proper test and report back. Let me know if you have tried this and what you thought of it?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>Garnier Micellar Water</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The highstreet has jumped on the micellar bandwagon and about time too. This is a lovely micellar water. I have been using this for about two weeks and as of yet I have no ill effects to report. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>Rimmel Salon Pro Kate Nail Polish in 711 Punk Rock</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I have just realised that this is another grey nail polish. Does anyone else to that? Go through phases of unknowingly buying everything in one colour? This is a different grey anyway so really its OK. I love the formula and finish of these nail polishes. I love Kate Moss. Match made in makeup heaven. This is really dark, almost black looking grey. Not great for the summer but I love grey!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I will do a full review of each of these and let you know what I think of them. If you have tried any of these let me know what you think of them. If you have a post haul related please put the link to your blog in the comments, I would love to check it out. I'm always free for a haul! I hope everyone is having a lovely day. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I have only had this a few days but I wanted to put out this review because this is a great product. At first I was a little sceptical, as it promised fuller brows, and I wasn't sure how exactly Benefit was going to come through on this promise.</div>
<a name='more'></a> I figured this was just another tinted brow gel. I picked this up in Debenhams for €22.40 during a 10% off day. It comes in two colours light/medium and medium/deep, I got the medium/deep as my eyebrows are dark brown, almost black.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I could not have been more wrong about this. It is a tinted brow gel, but it also has fibres in the gel that adhere to skin and other eyebrow hairs to give temporary extra eyebrow hairs. My brows are quite a good size at the moment, but I have sparse areas. This fills in those sparse areas to give me Brooke Sheilds brows.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwhWLcDi6hyP2GJPcBD67wq5YyCmlU4laa_EWh_CC5kxtZQiHkQHdgxuoIeIoerDvtP45uMTO46lTR_qq89_jFBoqB8HrJu3qtOF5Wwp4Eeu5Kk2-n3mzfenZG_cEMnAFPwsR9faU9n_U/s1600/10+March+2014+005.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwhWLcDi6hyP2GJPcBD67wq5YyCmlU4laa_EWh_CC5kxtZQiHkQHdgxuoIeIoerDvtP45uMTO46lTR_qq89_jFBoqB8HrJu3qtOF5Wwp4Eeu5Kk2-n3mzfenZG_cEMnAFPwsR9faU9n_U/s1600/10+March+2014+005.JPG" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Above is my brow without Gimmie brow and below is with it combed through. Sorry the lighting is different on the bottom snap, but you can see the difference in the middle and end of my brow, it makes it look much fuller.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
At the moment this only comes in two shades, I found the darker one does match my eyebrow colour but it is easy to become heavy handed with this. A small number of small strokes with the the wand is all I need or my brows start to take over my face. My hair is naturally quite dark, so if you have light or medium colouring or a warm tone to your brows I would swatch these first. I don't find the holding power of the gel keeps my brows in place all day. I found after a couple of hours that a few pesky hairs were starting to stray from the bunch. To combat this I have been waiting for the Gimmie brow to dry and then putting my trusty Kiko Eyebrow designer gel over the top. This has been working beautifully. It still takes less time than drawing in the hairs and to me looks more natural. After a few hours of using this alone I found it did bleed a little onto the area surrounding my brows. This is probably because of my oily skin I suppose. Kiko gel to the rescue again here. I don't think this would be suitable to swim in!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I really like this product once I had figured out the kinks! I think it is a great concept to use the technology from fibre mascaras (which I'm not mad about) to fill in eyebrows, well done Benefit. If they brought out more shades, amped up the holding power and made it waterproof it would be perfect, for now I'm quite happy to use this with my Kiko gel. I really like this and I look forward to seeing the highstreet take this concept on.</div>

<br /></div>

Let me know below if you have tried this and what you thought because I'm dying to know how other people have been getting on with this. I hope everyone is having a lovely day. </div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiCxYsO2R0Owo3ZWABOJiIyA5jWSb_fkvezUpHCQsU2m-um1K3fvOScgRXZVhyphenhyphenwSU_LOEoACcytMAkUJPT281P2TG0lXPZsiQ2uEsrLwGgmTY-x1m1pKYsPk_vp0NL50wnwaV9gGqh0st8/s1600/10+March+2014+001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiCxYsO2R0Owo3ZWABOJiIyA5jWSb_fkvezUpHCQsU2m-um1K3fvOScgRXZVhyphenhyphenwSU_LOEoACcytMAkUJPT281P2TG0lXPZsiQ2uEsrLwGgmTY-x1m1pKYsPk_vp0NL50wnwaV9gGqh0st8/s1600/10+March+2014+001.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
These are the products that I've tried and tested on recommendations from the blogging kingdom. The only one I tried on whim and loved was the Ren Clear Calm 3 clarifying clay cleanser. Most of the products are pretty hyped up, however I am pretty hard to please. My skin is oily and blemish prone in the centre of my face with crater-like pores, while dehydrated and tight around the edges</div>
<a name='more'></a> with tiny dry patches within the oily parts. So anything that works for me is basically a miracle in a tube/tube/bottle. I have repurchased each of these numerous times. I fall back on these whenever my skin is playing havoc and I don't know what to do. These never fail to help remedy what ails my skin.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>Emma Hardys Amazing Face Morninga Cleansing Balm</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This product is one of the most hyped products in the blogger kingdom. It is worth every bit of the hype I think. I didn't want to love this, I really didn't, mostly because of the €42 price tag. I tried to find fault with it, but the difference it made to my skin is undeniable. I don't break out as much any more, the breakouts I do get clear up faster and my pore size and the space they occupy has been reduced. I found this was too rich for me to use morning and evening, so I just use it in the evenings now. Since I started using it once a day I feel my skin has improved even more. This balm dose an excellent job of cleansing while being super rich, moisturising and nourishing. It has really helped to balance out my skin.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser.</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is an oldie but a goodie for me. It was the first cleanser I bought and tried on a blogger recommendation (I think it was Anna from viviannadoesmakeup, way way back) and it certainly impressed. It started my love affair with skincare and then blogging and then makeup. This cleanser continues to impress me to this day. It is a good all around cream cleanser. I always bring the mini of this when I'm away from base. When I got burn like marks on my face after a chemical exfoliant, I turned to this and it cleansed my skin without irritating or making the burns worse. I find this great in the morning if I want an extra clean feeling (I'm currently trailing using only a micellar water in the morning) because it is light, non-stripping and leaves me with a fresh feeling face. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>La Roche Possay Serozinc</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is a soothing toner. I used this when I had those chemical exfoliation burns and it worked a treat. The next morning things were significantly improved and within three days they were barely noticeable. This toner is able to dry up breakouts and reduce shine but without stripping my skin. Its an excellent toner. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>Indeed Labs Hydraleuron</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is a serum that rehyrdates my skin without me having to use a really rich moisturiser, which will break me out. My skin can feel so tight that I really want to just throw caution to the wind and go in with the rich moisturiser but I always regret it after. Enter hydraleuron, this product holds 1,000 times it own weight in water, so I feel when I apply my normal light rehydrating moisturiser that this amps it up, gives it an extra kick if you will without over loading my temperamental skin. Using this nightly has improved the texture of my skin also. My skin feels softer and more supple and those pesky dry patches in the centre on my face are no more!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>Ren Clear Calm 3 Clarifying Clay Cleanser</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is the first clay cleanser I have come across. Let me know below if I lead a sheltered beauty life and there are loads of clay cleansers out there! I use this as a second cleanse on days when my skin isn't behaving. It is great for clearing out pores and drying up breakouts. I leave this cleanser on for about 10 minutes to really get a deep cleanse and give it time to work its magic. The only thing is it can be a bit drying due to its serious cleansing power, so a moisture mask is required after. Maybe this one isn't for overly dry gals as I imagine it might leave your skin feeling like a tin roof under the hot sun. This also needs plently of warm water to make sure it completely washes off. I felt like it left a layer on my face if I didn't properly spend time washing it off.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
There are my skincare saviours. It was hard to pick a title for this post because I rely on these products they never let me down, they are heros for me. Forever repurchased says it all really though doesn't it? Considering the amount of products out there (and how fickle I am when it comes to beauty), any product that gets repurchased must be something special.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Let me know what skincare items you have repurchased in the past or do continue to repurchase. If you have the same skin type as me (even though I'm sure that possible or that I would even wish this skin on any body else!) please let me know anything that you've found helpful to try and please this angry skin! Hope everyone is having a good day. Its beautiful and sunny here today yay! I should also be getting a new camera today, a fancy 'proper' one so there should be a improvement in the quality of my pictures soon. Hopefully. When I get the hang of it. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I have been on the hunt for an everyday drugstore/high-street foundation for a long time. Laura Mercier Luminous silk is my all time favourite foundation but at about €50 a tube, its too expensive to wear daily. When I was younger I tried a</div>
<a name='more'></a> few drugstore/high-street foundations, with my oily/combination/pale skin, a lack of confidence and less knowledge it lead to some pretty horrific orange shiny patchy foundation situations (two words pan stick). When I first got into makeup about a year ago, I read blogs and watched YouTube videos in attempt to gather as much knowledge as I could retain about the different skin types and different foundations that suited them best. I started on my quest again to find a foundation for my skin type. First I found Laura M and it was perfect, but I still needed a cheaper alternative. I tried many and they were OK nothing compared to Laura Mercier for me. Fast forward to 2 months ago and some raving from Amelia Liana about True Match and I knew I had to try it.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It didn't disappoint. This is the best high-street foundation I have come across for my oily/combination/blemish prone skin. I love this. It has a medium coverage. It covers redness, and blemishes and evens out my complexion. It does tend to sit in my crater size pores but a primer un<span style="text-align: center;">derneath sorts this out. I wouldn't hold that against True Match though as most foundations, even the expensive ones tend to settle into my pores. It has a semi-matte to satin finish, it has some oil control properties to it, but isn't completely matte and does give a little radiance to the complexion which I like. I used to prefer completely matte finish, but this was before I realised how careful you have to be to not look like you've just died, so these days I like a bit of glow to my skin. It has a lasting time of 4-5 hours on me, which I feel is good considering most foundations disappear from the middle of my face after about 2 hours. Add a little powder and I'm good to go again. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh18W93XillKTKLZRxanj2MDsyXkThumAPANOmDHW2vRl0-UU0sExAU3TknQHyDk0F7ch3T4HxZ9PntihlC_Cy_-YN38-rRthrYO189Hl4Yg01Bp75goAg4GWpiZrPswfrgJWMii_DyQ84/s1600/07+march+2014+009.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh18W93XillKTKLZRxanj2MDsyXkThumAPANOmDHW2vRl0-UU0sExAU3TknQHyDk0F7ch3T4HxZ9PntihlC_Cy_-YN38-rRthrYO189Hl4Yg01Bp75goAg4GWpiZrPswfrgJWMii_DyQ84/s1600/07+march+2014+009.JPG" height="311" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
There are 22 shades to choose from. This can be a double edged sword. I think its great to see a high-street brand mimicking the high end counters taking into account different skin tones, different undertones in peoples skin and the different textures of skin. It can become confusing trying to figure out the right shade, and at the high end counters there are assistants to help and guide you if you need it. If you are unsure of your skin undertone and shade, it can be really daunting facing 22 shades. On the L'Oreal website there is a questionnaire to help you figure these things out. I did the quiz and a got a shade number. Then I went to my local chemist and tried a few different shades around the one the website suggested and I eventually decided on R2-C2 rose vanilla. I love this shade, it gives me a little extra colour without looking artificial. It blends seamlessly. I can't rave about this foundation enough.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
At €15.99 it is on the expensive side, but it is the best I've found out there. I would gladly pay the money again and again and again. It is on offer quite regularly so even though I love it, I might wait until then to pick it up. Are there any high-street foundations that might work with my skin that you have found out there that I need to try? Please let me know below. Hope everyone is having a good day. </div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEia9iPbxhR79bw2Dj6owgfNaSpUPzFzZgKR4uOGjYiEaTnBoNVrRBxurKP9iH__GXQrH7V4Q9MwQ-G94wx3RbJ0UR0sflyqiVFgqklRmxkdoXRkRdJOOAaMwJNJin8JXHcsev8H3oHktsk/s1600/2+March+2014+137.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEia9iPbxhR79bw2Dj6owgfNaSpUPzFzZgKR4uOGjYiEaTnBoNVrRBxurKP9iH__GXQrH7V4Q9MwQ-G94wx3RbJ0UR0sflyqiVFgqklRmxkdoXRkRdJOOAaMwJNJin8JXHcsev8H3oHktsk/s1600/2+March+2014+137.JPG" height="224" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is a really old tag but I thought it would be good to do and pay homage to the great drugstore make up out there. Drugstore makeup is good clean fun, for me it means I can try out the latest trends in the beauty world without paying the earth, and suffering from buyers remorse</div>
<a name='more'></a> when it doesn't work for me. Its a great feeling for me when I discover a drugstore alternative to a highend product that I prefer more than the expensive version (more on that later). With me however I normally have already forked out the standard €40 for the highend product before I discover the highstreet alternative I like better! So enough rambling here are the tag questions.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>1. What is your favourite drugstore makeup brand overall?</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For a first question this is really difficult! After much deliberation, I've worked out that I can achieve a complete face of makeup with Bourjois. Different brands have strengths in different areas. I love Rimmel too, but their foundations never entice me. I'm thinking of trying out their new matte BB cream. A highstreet dupe for the Jouer matte moisture tint maybe? Watch this space.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDPK9E9sQHwlicB21nPuMv1ITsrsSV98tMeLwgX-7I1EmCjNP6ILOwpWYs97Aiq2buZ2KFJXA7pg2CNFbIgZrR3j5W8CIicOIwxRrIARv-evhd3mou_mxxwY0biRAAilfzNSjDWYYfOlw/s1600/2+March+2014+139.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDPK9E9sQHwlicB21nPuMv1ITsrsSV98tMeLwgX-7I1EmCjNP6ILOwpWYs97Aiq2buZ2KFJXA7pg2CNFbIgZrR3j5W8CIicOIwxRrIARv-evhd3mou_mxxwY0biRAAilfzNSjDWYYfOlw/s1600/2+March+2014+139.JPG" height="223" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>2. What are your favourite face, cheek, eye and lip products?</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i><br /></i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For face (I'm thinking as in base?!) L'Oreal True Match foundation, cheeks would have to be Sleek blushes for the variety of shades and finishes. Eye (shadow I'm going with here?) would be Maybelline Colour Tattoos. Lips go to Soap & Glory. They do a great lipstick (that smells like Mac ones yay!) and a chubby-stick-esque lip crayons.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6aPRI06L-X5tFNpsltb_bpbjV5s-9ZySbsy0W2fwDcw9p3TK9I9xTjSn4pB-AbTW0n_aa8zyc0w-dtukegcuMujpMzoLI5zZTZ8UK8EEOojnpS3-jU-5ChdxoYCEpLpsS3XuWKqNZ6DI/s1600/2+March+2014+144.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6aPRI06L-X5tFNpsltb_bpbjV5s-9ZySbsy0W2fwDcw9p3TK9I9xTjSn4pB-AbTW0n_aa8zyc0w-dtukegcuMujpMzoLI5zZTZ8UK8EEOojnpS3-jU-5ChdxoYCEpLpsS3XuWKqNZ6DI/s1600/2+March+2014+144.JPG" height="307" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>3. Least favourite product?</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
No 7 Beautifully Matte Makeup base (€13.75). It did not work for me at all. When I was applying this it felt sticky but I persevered. Then when I tried to apply my Laura Mercier Silk Cream foundation the primer gathered into little balls and peeled off taking my beloved foundation with it. What a waste of expensive foundation. I tried with another foundation, and got the same results. I swiftly passed it on. Yuck.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>4. What is the best makeup bargin?</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Everyone probably says this but the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer (€6.49).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLyMDhVklHQbt99D6PW5MEhxUiPr9kS9KeMIr632ecVEvTfZO9gewhlFcLiK9ivVZeVtpXE_iXR2186O-X3K0RTc9B6BrKEklFeS9eu9YUoYtEsqDnFRbH5XKUvEoyqPuQst1YH66taLY/s1600/2+March+2014+141.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLyMDhVklHQbt99D6PW5MEhxUiPr9kS9KeMIr632ecVEvTfZO9gewhlFcLiK9ivVZeVtpXE_iXR2186O-X3K0RTc9B6BrKEklFeS9eu9YUoYtEsqDnFRbH5XKUvEoyqPuQst1YH66taLY/s1600/2+March+2014+141.JPG" height="303" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>5. What is your favourite underdog product? (Something great that often gets overlooked?)</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Rimmel nail polishes are great for the price. They have a great colour range with lots of different finishes. They also change up their shades regularly and do some great dupes of the more expensive brands best selling shades. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>6. A drugstore product that is overpriced?</i> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Bourjois products can be pretty expensive. Their foundations come to about €17 which is too expensive in my opinion. L'Oreal foundation is expensive too, coming in at around €16. Revlon lip crayons are expensive at €11.20, the Clinique originals are €20. I normally wait until the more expensive drugstore brands are on offer to pick them up. I feel drugstore makeup should be around the €10 - €15 mark or else it just doesn't feel like drugstore does it?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

I had seen a few different bloggers talk about these and compare them to the Laura Mercier Caviar stick eye shadows. I thought they would be a good for a swipe and go product. At €6.90 each I couldn't resist<br />
<a name='more'></a>picking up a few different shades (They are €4.90 on the website at the moment).<br />
<br />
Kiko say these are long lasting 8 hour, no transfer eye shadow (but then they would say that wouldn't they?!). So I used a primer on one eye and none on the other eye to test said claims. I do have oily skin and my lids so tend to get oily. On the eye without primer the eye-shadow did disappear and reappeared in the crease of my eyelid, like a colourful oil spill. On the eye with primer as a base there were also missing patches, but it seemed to fade more evenly. Primer is a definite must with these fellas if you have oily lids. I have ended up bringing what ever colour of these I'm wearing with me in my bag for touch ups. Not ideal really, when I wanted these for a swipe and go eye-shadow.<br />

<br />
<br />
The colour pay off from these isn't as intense on application as I had hoped. Even with a primer. It can be built up, to a fairly decent colour pay off but nothing that blew me away. I felt I had to drag these across my eyelids, which I am not crazy about. The texture of these can feel a little waxy and can be patchy, however they do blend well, I found the warmth of my little finger works a treat. The finishes that contain glitter seem to be more waxy and difficult to apply, as opposed to the straight up metallic finishes which are easier to apply but are bordering on too creamy to stay in place.<br />
<br />
I haven't been blown away by these eye-shadow sticks. The lasting power isn't great, they aren't as pigmented as I would have liked and the formula didn't impress me either. I will work around these issues by using primer and touching up on the go, as I like the concept, I just wished they lived up to my (high) expectations. The highstreet brands need to get on this long lasting stick eye-shadow band immediately. <br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Kiko Eyebrow Designer: I only got this at the start if the month but I have used it everyday this month. I have dedicated an entire post to it <a href="http://beautyfulbits.blogspot.ie/2014/02/kiko-eyebrow-designer.html?m=0#more" target="_blank">here</a>. The applicator is really interesting two brushes</div>
<a name='more'></a> <br />
<a href="" name="more"></a>in one concept. This has great holding power for lightweight gel. I really like it.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Smashbox Brow Tech To Go: I got this awhile ago and I have used it on and off since. It's really handy because it has a gel and a small mascara wand on the top. I went back to it because it's a little lighter than my natural brow colour which means if I get a little heavy handed I don't end up looking like I have drawn my brows on with a black sharpie.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Soap & Glory Clean On Me: This is the first shower/bath product from S&G that I have tried, even though that's what they are famous for, I have a fair few favourites amoung their cosmetic offerings. This has a lovely scent and lathers up well. It almost smells a bit like Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle, which is no bad thing in my book. I'm definitely going to buy the full size of this. I have also picked up more shower/bath products from S&G to try.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Charles Worthington Split End Protector: This is to be applied on to ends of wet hair to repair and protect them. My ends are light and dry and I really feel like this has strengthened and improved the condition of the ends of my hair. It's only a 50ml tube but only the smallest amount is required so it will last. I feel this puts weight back into the ends of my hair. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Tony & Guy Heat Protectant Spray: Even though I only use the cold setting on my hair dryer (if I use it at all, I'm so afraid of frying my hair), I still wanted a heat protectant. I picked this one up on a whim. It adds volume to my hair and helps my natural waves from forming without frizz. I even use this when I'm not blow drying my hair. It's lightweight and doesn't make my hair feel crispy.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Dove Nourishing Oil Care Solutions Shampoo & Conditioner: All part of my hair are kick this month. They definitely made my hair softer and more manageable.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
La Roche Possay Hydraphase Insensive: This has been my main moisturiser for day and night for the past month. It is so light in texture when it comes out of the tube it is almost like foam. Even with its light texture this doesn't scrimp on the hydration. It keeps my combination skin hydrated all day, without making me feel greasy. It makes a great base for underneath makeup too. I do still want to get a richer night cream but this will stay as my day moisturiser.</div>

Liz Earle cleanse and polish 100ml (€16.00):</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
A great cream cleanser. Not so rich it leaves a residue but has a light fresh consistency. It didn't feel too creamy for the oily areas of my combination skin. There is a nice natural scent to it. I reach for this when my skin is sensitive, inflamed or sore because I know it won't make things get worse. I always go back to this when I don't know what to use. I currently use this in the morning.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
La Roche Possay Physiological Eye Make-Up Remover (€13.49):</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I really like this eye make up remover. It has the consistency of water. Is gentle on the eyes, doesn't sting and doesn't leave a greasy residue. My test of an eye make up remover is to remove Benefit They're real mascara. It took off most of it. It takes off eyeliner, waterproof liner, eyeshadow and eye primer easily. If you don't wear waterproof mascara all the time and have sensitive eyes this could be a goodie. I repurchased it, enough said.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Nuxe Crème Fraîche moisturing rebalancing emulsion (€31.20):</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I found this an effective moisture for my combination skin. It is quite rich so it is better for night use or for extra hydration during the winter. It isn't so rich that it breaks me out. It didn't leave me feeling greasy in the morning but my skin felt softer, more supple, like it had taken moisture in and locked it in. I liked it so much I cut it in half to get it all out. I didn't get bored with this at all. A bit expensive at full price for an extra fiver you could give the triology one a go.</div>

Vichy Eau Thermal (free with set. 150ml for €9.99):</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
This is water in a can. I got it in a set, I used it up and I won't repurchase it. It's water in a can!! I live on an island surrounded by water so I'm good for water thanks. I used this after toning then stopped. Water sprayed onto your face gets evaporated by air drying out your skin more. Boo.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Caudalie Beauty Elixir 30ml (€14.25):</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I love this, I don't love it, I use it, I don't use it again for ages. I have repurchased it two further times so I must like it. I've read that it's not the best for skin as it's full of alcohol. It is really refreshing and smells great, also I've never noticed it to cause any worsining of my skin issues. I feel that products with ingredients such as mint, alovera, eucalyptus improve my skins clarity, but some of it's other ingredients are are a bit dodge it shouldn't be, I dunno? When I am using this I use it as a toner in the morings. I will repurchase.</div>
